Greetings!
The Junior League of Lower Columbia is kindly reaching out to our community for support of an Annual Fund. This fund is used to directly support our mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the Cowlitz County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Gifts to the Junior League of Lower Columbia make an impact on the lives of women and our community.
The Annual Fund, much like our League, relies on the power of many to increase the positive impact on the community both today and in the future. With your support in our Annual Fund, we will be able to provide greater sustainability in our budget from year to year and ensure that JLLC will serve the Cowlitz County community for many years to come.
Annual Giving is one of the simplest ways to support the important work of the Junior League of Lower Columbia.
The Junior League of Lower Columbia is an organization of women who come together to positively impact the lives of those in the Cowlitz County community every day. The JLLC Annual Fund will provide financial support to community partners and to JLLC signature programs:
-
Festival of Trees our annual auction featuring elaborately decorated trees. This community celebration is truly a favorite that gives back in a BIG way. 2021 Festival of Trees gave over $60,000 to community partners!
-
Hospice Garden work is our spring project where we freshen up the Hospice garden space each May.
-
The Scholarship Program awards three or more local students with funds to further their education.
-
CJAC Stuffed Animal Drive our annual project providing new stuffed animals to the children receiving support from CJAC.
-
Enables the JLLC to recruit and retain members.
-
Creates opportunities for women to attend training series, national conferences, and webinars.
Together, we can continue to give our time, skills, and goodwill to those in need.
