Who are we? 

The Junior League of Lower Columbia (JLLC) is a group of like-minded women who have come together to make a collective impact in our community. We identify and lead impactful projects throughout the community and fundraise to give back to other non-profit organizations who focus on helping women and children in Cowlitz County. JLLC provides an outlet to make a positive direct impact on the lives of women and children and contribute to multiple non-profit organizations through our fundraising endeavors.

What do we do?

We give back over 80% of our net funds to the community by providing college scholarships, community improvement projects, and contributing to other non-profit organizations in Cowlitz County who focus on women and children. We encourage our members to promote voluntarism, professional development of women, and improve the Cowlitz County community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

How can you help?

The Junior League of Lower Columbia is kindly reaching out to our community for support of an Annual Fund. The Annual Fund, much like our League, relies on the power of many to increase the positive impact on the community both today and in the future. With your support to our Annual Fund, we will be able to provide greater sustainability in our budget and ensure that we will serve the Cowlitz County community for many years to come.

The Annual Fund will provide financial support to community partners and to JLLC signature programs:

• Festival of Trees Our annual auction is a community celebration featuring elaborately decorated trees. The 2022 Festival of Trees gave over $57,000 to 17 community partners!

  Family Promise Living Improvement Our spring project where we freshen up the Family Promise communal living space for families in need can enjoy a safe and inviting place to live.

  Scholarship Program Awards three or more local students with funds to further their education. 

  Children’s Justice & Advocacy Center (CJAC) Stuffed Animal Drive Our annual project providing new stuffed animals and blankets to the children receiving support from CJAC.

Annual Giving is one of the simplest ways to support the important work of JLLC. Together, We can continue to give our time, skills, and goodwill to those in need. Your generosity is much appreciated!
